  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk

  1. Melt butter in 9 x 13 pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix flour, sugar, and milk together.
  3. Pour that mixture in pan on top of melted butter.
  4. Add fruit on top of flour, sugar, and milk mixture.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.

There are numerous fruits that you can use in any cobbler recipe. You can use sliced peaches or thinly sliced apples for a basic old-fashioned Apple Cobbler or Peach Cobbler.

Some possible fruit mixtures are as follows:

  • Add raisins or dried cranberries to the apple cobbler
  • Add dried cherries to the blackberry cobbler
  • Add dried blueberries or strawberries to an peach cobbler
